RCH 585 is a highly reactive methyl methacrylate (MMA)–based resin specifically designed for two-component (2K) cold plastic road marking systems, developed to deliver long-lasting performance under the most demanding traffic and environmental conditions. It provides reliable performance particularly in applications exposed to heavy traffic loads, high axle stress, and variable climatic conditions.
Thanks to its chemical structure, RCH 585 exhibits excellent resistance to fuels, chemicals, and de-icing road salts. Its hydrophobic structure supports effective glass bead retention in rainy conditions, contributing to the long-term preservation of retroreflective visibility. The ability to be opened to traffic within approximately 30 minutes offers significant time and operational efficiency advantages during application. In addition, its high UV resistance ensures long-term color stability.
